FEES

The cost of an environmental survey is variable and is a function of the physical size of the structure and detail required. Factors include travel time, time on site, access, testing, lab fees, data analysis, and report writing. Typically after the first 1 1/2 hours of inspection a review is made with the client and an estimated cost is presented. A minimum of 2 hours @ $450 is billed and an additional $170 per hour thereafter. Payment is due at the time of the inspection. Travel time is charged for inspections beyond a designated perimeter of the Malibu office.

Pre-purchase inspections: To allow for lab processing of microbial samples, these inspections should be scheduled as early as possible within the escrow period.
